It contains more molasses than today’s refined sugar, which is chemically stripped of molasses and hyper-concentrated using bone char.
Use half as much of this thick syrup in place of simple syrup in your homemade cocktail and punch recipes.
It also makes an awesome substitute for maple syrup!
